Illegal Parking, 17 Motorcycles Netted

Tens of motorcycles illegally parked at Jalan Kunir, Kota Tua, Taman Sari, West Jakarta were netted during operation held by West Jakarta Sub-dept. of Transportation.

West Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Transportation, Anggiat Banjarnahor, admitted his side must net the motorcycles parked at special area of post office head. The motorcycles are owned by Kota Tua visitors.

“Jalan Kunir, precisely at post office must free from vehicles,” he said, Sunday (9/18).

In order to guard the area, his side deployed dozens of personnel and two trucks. Finally, the netted motorcycles were moved to legal parking area at Jalan Cengkeh.

“As the persuasive way, we did not give them ticket or flatten the tires. We only transport the vehicles to Jalan Cengkeh. Later on, vehicles illegally parked will be towed to Rawabuaya bus terminal,” he closed.
