Illegal Parking Rampant on Sidewalk of Jl Sumur Bor Raya

A sidewalk along Jl Sumur Bor Raya, Kalideres Urban Village, Kalideres Sub-district is rampant with illegal parking. Besides disturbing the passerby, cars that parked in that location also triggers damage to the sidewalk's conblock.

Before the damage gets worst, I hope illegal parking on Jl Sumur Bor Raya can be controlled soon. Besides, its existence is very dangerous

Saputra, (50), a citizen of RW 12, Kalideres Urban Village said the pedestrian has been used as illegal parking since one year. Generally, four-wheeled vehicles parked in the location are belonging local residents.

"Before the damage gets worst, I hope illegal parking on Jl Sumur Bor Raya can be controlled soon. Besides, its existence is very dangerous," he complained, Wednesday (9/14).

Head of West Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept, Anggiat Banjarnahor asserted, besides triggering damage, the sidewalk is supposedly intended to the passerby, instead of vehicle.

"I'll coordinate with local headmen to restore its function. We'll control it soon," he finished.
