Seribu Islands Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept, Rudiyanto disclosed that fire system checking is based on Gubernatorial Regulation No. 8/2008 on Prevention and Handling of Fire.

"It is just periodic for the reduction of fire and other disasters," he said, Tuesday (9/20).

He explains, it is done at sub-district level. From checking results, most buildings are lack fire protection equipment.

"It is addressed to building that functions as a homestay business," he finished.
