Basuki Wants Fire System in City Hall to Be Improved

Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T Purnama instructed Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Department to check fire system in government buildings, especially at City Hall.

Ahok admitted that there is never a simulated fire at City Hall during he served as governor three years.

"Nevertheless, the fire system in City Hall must be improved ," he said, Monday (9/14).

He instructed the related unit to intensively check the City Hall building. “Please check the building. If you don’t pay much attention to your home, how about other,” he stressed.

Meanwhile, Head of Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Department, Subejo promised to immediately check the City Hall building. “We’ll send our officer soon,” he disclosed.
