Today, Fatahillah Mosque Repaired

Jakarta Housing and Government Building Dept is going to repair some damage in Fatahillah Mosque, City Hall Complex, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta today, Thursday (9/22).

We try to repair today and complete tomorrow

"I'll ask the contractor to soon do repair. Because the mosque is not yet one year," expressed Arifin, Head of Jakarta Housing and Government Building Dept, Thursday (9/22).

Arifin admitted could not confirm whether the mosque maintenance is still the responsibility of the contractor or not. This is because, it should be the responsibility of the contractor for the six months since the handover.

"It was inaugurated on January 29, 2016. Despite it was after six months, we could have asked the contractor to check. We try to repair today and complete tomorrow," he stated.

Based on Beritajakarta.com, a number of damage in the mosque can be seen at the pillar that has cracked, leaking roof and had to accommodate rainwater by using a bucket.
