Jakarta Governor Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo today, Friday (5/16), inaugurates Jembatan Dua Market in Angke Urban Village, Tambora Sub-District, West Jakarta. Arrived in location at around 11.15 AM, he directly headed to the market hall where the inauguration takes place.

The Jembatan Dua Market is a two-story market as wide as 2,693 square meters, with 414 business places which consist of 168 kiosks and 246 blocks, a musholla (small mosque), lavatory, and parking area that can accommodate 20 cars and 150 motorcycles.

There are 414 kiosks and all has been occupied . For dry goods like shirts and groceries, the kiosks are located upstairs. In downstairs, there are vegetables, meat, and fish. This market was slum and causing traffic congestion before. But now, everything is organized. The market is also equipped with parking lot,” stated Jokowi.
