Jakarta Provincial Government keeps increasing the citizens welfare in Seribu Island. One of the ways is preparing transportation or cheap goods ship.

“In November, Sabuk Nusantara ship will be deployed. It means two ships will operate from Seribu Island to Jakarta everyday,” said Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama, Tuesday (9/27).

He added that two Sabuk Nusantara ships operate all product in Seribu Island to Jakarta. “Tariff is cheap. One ton is Rp 5,000,” he added.

Not only transportation, his side will also give fish cultivation training. It is aimed to gain the product competitiveness.

Previously, Basuki together with DPR RI member, Fayakhun and Jakarta City Council Commission B, Ruddin Akbar Lubis spread 4,000 fish seeds for three islands; Semak Daun, Panggang and Karang Lebar.
