Kedoya Utara Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk Sub-district, West Jakarta was declared as Kampung KB (family planning village). It is hoped the effort will be able to minimize population growth.

West Jakarta Mayor, Anas Efendi, said the Kampung KB existence must be utilized fully to suppress population growth in West Jakarta, especially in Kedoya Utara Urban Village.

Karet Tengsin Urban Village Inaugurated as KB VillageAccording to him, population growth in West Jakarta is 2.43 percent. Similar program was already declared in Kamal, Pesakih flat, Rawa Buaya, Angke flat, Tegal Alur, and Kedoya Utara.
“It is hoped the program will created qualified human source and better welfare for the residents,” he closed.
