BPMPKB Socialized KB Application

City Family Planning, Women and Community Agency (BPMPKB) does socialization a family planning (KB) application. It is hoped, it could facilitate residents in getting KB information. 

In future, it will be connected with Jakarta Smart City. It will bigger and all up-to-date information can be seen

Jakarta BPMPKB Head, Dien Emawati disclosed, her side cooperates with Johns Hopkin University Center Communication Progress (JHCCP) to develop the application. Later on, KB information such as such as installing a IUD contraceptive anywhere or want to know about a suitable contraceptive and so on can be seen from the application.

"In future, it will be connected with Jakarta Smart City. It will bigger and all up-to-date information can be seen," she stated.

Flat Occupants Encouraged to Participate in Family Planning

She will more spread it, such as in flat and RPTRA by informing KB village. This is because, problem in city is high quantity, but the quality is low.

"Our target is the number of children quantity is two children and qualified, despite it is not easy," she expressed.

Meanwhile, Head of JHCCP Representative Office in Indonesia, Fitri Putjuk added people can download the application via smartphone based on android and ios. They only type 'skata' or open website: www.skata.info and social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
