Basuki & Jokowi Review MRT & LRT

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama accompanies Indonesian President, Jokowi Widodo to review the project of Light Rail Transit (LRT) and Mass Rapid Transit (MRT). It is done because the President wants to know the progress of the project.

The top part will be made as a park and three floors to the bottom as a station

The first group reviews the LRT project in Cibubur, East Jakarta. It is done on Jagorawi KM 13 Toll Road. After that, around 15 minutes, they then go to the Dukuh Atas MRT Station. And arrived at 9.45 AM.

PT MRT Director, Dono Boestami directly gives explanation about development of the project that is still under construction.

MRT Tunnel Reaches 65 Percent

"The top part will be made as a park and three floors to the bottom as a station," explained Dono, Friday (9/30).

On that occasion, there are also Public Works and Public Housing Minister, Basuki Hadi Muljono, Transportation Minister, Budi Karya Sumadi and BUMN Minister, Rini Sumayo.

Until now, those are still in the project area. The project itself has been started since 2013 for phase 1, south-north corridor with Lebak Bulus-HI Roundabout route. It is targeted to be finished in 2018.
