City to Build Park and Ride Through Buy Back System

Jakarta Provincial Government is scheduled to build a park and ride in some regions in the capital. As planned, its construction will use buy back system.

Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept, Andri Yansyah explained, through buy back system, the city would pay fund for park and ride project after physical project is done.
"We use buy back system. Construction is handed by the contractor and operator lies in us. Fund for its construction will be paid by way of installments of income," he stated, at City Hall, Monday (10/3).
Park and Ride Design Has Been MadeAccording to him, until now, the project is still under permit processing. So far, permit processing has been through two institutions, namely BPTSP and Jakarta Water Management Dept.
"We've coordinated with Water Management Dept about recommendation permit applicants related with parking project on the drains," he told.
Andri added, related with park and ride building provider, it was set on performance-based contract such as has been done in Electronic Road Pricing (ERP).
