Jakarta Provincial Government will hand over Bantar Gebang Integrated Dump Site to Bekasi City Administration after the Intermediate Treatment Facilities (ITF) is completely built. It will be given when the inner city ITF is already maximum.

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama, said the waste management should be run inside the city. In fact, limited space has made the management is moved to Bantar Gebang, Bekasi.
“I will turn Bantar Gebang as the Bekasi’s ITF,” he said, Tuesday (10/4).
ITF Groundbreaking Targeted to Be Done in February 2017According to him, Bantar Gebang management is already handled by Jakarta Provincial Government. Previously, third party did not manage it well.
Basuki targets ITF can be constructed in February. At this moment, the project is being auctioned by Jakarta Dept. of Cleanliness.
