ITF Groundbreaking Targeted to Be Done in February 2017

The city administration is conducting tender for construction of Sunter Intermediate Treatment Facilities (ITF). It is targeted the groundbreaking can be done in the upcoming February.

I think we can already do groundbreaking in February and continued to the ITF project

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama disclosed, tender process is still under process. It is hoped all could run smoothly thus groundbreaking can be done in February. "I think we can already do groundbreaking in February and continued to the ITF project," he stated, at City Hall, Tuesday (10/4). 

Basuki added his party has involved the BPPT for technology tender. It is hoped could get the best technology for trash management in the capital. He wants to get the unclear technology.

City Starts to Acknowledge ITF to Investors

"It has been selection, technology tender involves BPPT. We take it forward more than 90, that is why we are confused which one is right or wrong," he expressed.

The first ITF location is in Sunter area, North Jakarta, precisely nearby North Jakarta District Court. Its construction is indeed postponed several times, because it was hampered by legal protection, that is Presidential Regulation on acceleration of renewable energy electricity through trash management.

Another obstacle that also faced is failed tender until several times. The city administration has appointed PT Jakarta Propertindo to construct the ITF.
