Jakarta Dept. of Water Management asked regional heads, urban village and sub-district heads to control buildings along riverbank. The effort is aimed to speed up normalization.
The equipments have been sent to 13 rivers. All river are our main priority
“Normalization is disturbed by stagnant building controlling,” said Teguh Hendrawan, head of agency, Tuesday (10/4).
According to him, equipments can not work maximally because of buildings along the riverbank. It means all building violate regulation must be controlled.
500 Buildings in Kemang Violated Trace“The equipments have been sent to 13 rivers. All river are our main priority,” he added.
Several riverbanks with many buildings are Krukut River, Grogol River, Sunter River, and Cipinang River.
