Civil Servant Cheating with Bantar Gebang Management to Be Fired

The management of Bantar Gebang dump site will not be handled by private again.

If they cooperate with private, we’ll dismiss them surely

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama, said will dismiss civil servants who are involved in management cheating.

“If they cooperate with private, we’ll dismiss them surely,” he said, Thursday (10/6).

Bantar Gebang Dump Site Given to Bekasi When ITF is Maximum

At this time, the management is under Jakarta Dept. of Cleanliness authority. Moreover, no heavy equipments renting to private side.

“We own the heavy equipments now,” he added.

Basuki explained his side now prepares Intermediate Treatment Facilities (ITF) construction. Later on, waste disposed to Bantar Gebang will decline since ITF is operated.

“We’ll manage our own waste with the ITF. We’ll provide ITF in Bantar Gebang too,” he closed.
