Localization in Gunung Antang area, Palmeriam, Matraman, East Jakarta will be controlled next year. There are recorded 86 illegal buildings that used as warung remang-remang (nightspot).

As planned, Gunung Antang area will be controlled but it can't because PT KAI has no plan to do it this year. So we delay it until 2017

Section Head of Operation for East Jakarta Satpol PP, Sadikin disclosed, since one month, third warning letter has been sent to the building owner. But the demolishment was failed, because PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) as the land owner has no plan to use the land.

"As planned, Gunung Antang area will be controlled but it can't because PT KAI has no plan to do it this year. So we delay it until 2017," he stated, Thursday (10/6). 

He added, besides PT KAI, another land at the same location is also owned by Jakarta Water Management Dept. Yet the most land occupied by illegal building and used as nightspot that is owned by PT KAI.
