E-ID Card Data Recording in Jakarta Reaches 98 Percent

The process of e-ID card data recording in Jakarta is almost complete. Of 7.43 million people, only 132 thousands people left to record their data.

“It is predicted the remaining people are going abroad or outside the city,” said Edison Sianturi, Jakarta Head Dept. of Population and Civil Registration, Sunday (10/9).

Now his side focuses on card printing which is disturbed by limited blank. In fact, mobile services remain deployed for weekend.

“The service at urban village is closed. We focus for mobile service only,” he added.

The blank necessity is 450 thousands. The Home Ministry prepares 300 thousands per day or 90 thousands people only.
