Fire gutted two rented homes in a densely populated area, Jl TB Simatupang, Gg Salihan, RT 05/04, Jati Padang Urban Village, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, Tuesday (10/11), at around 9.40 AM.

No fatalities or casualties in the incident. Yet the home owner shock and do not want to talk. The material loss reached tens of millions rupiah

"The homes condition was empty, because the owner was processing something to the urban village office. Unfortunately, citizens failed to put out the flames using available tools," expressed Novianti Wijanarko, Head of Jati Padang Urban Village, when being met at the scene, Tuesday (10/11).

Novianti told, fire is allegedly due to electricity short-circuit. The blaze quickly spread to the next building.

"No fatalities or casualties in the incident. Yet the home owner shock and do not want to talk. The material loss reached tens of millions rupiah," she told.

To put out the blaze, as many as five fire trucks immediately deployed to the fire location and managed to control condition.
