Seribu Islands RSUD Opens Free Cataract Surgery

The Seribu Islands Regional General Hospital (RSUD) will open free cataract surgery service for residents today, Wednesday (10/12). It is the result of cooperation with the Port Medical Center (PMC) Hospital.

This free cataract surgery will be held routinely and is scheduled will be free of charge every month

Seribu Islands RSUD Director, Ma'mun disclosed, today, as many as 52 residents will undergo cataract surgery. Before that, those should undergo screening process first from the ophthalmologists team from PMC Hospital.

"This free cataract surgery will be held routinely and is scheduled will be free of charge every month," he expressed, Tuesday (10/12).

Duren Sawit Residents Thronged to Free Health Service

He continued cataract can be a problem for residents due to the disruption of eyesight. Through such service, residents are hoped to get maximum service.

"The ophthalmologists team and surgery tool are ready to serve them," he finished.
