As many as 100 women underwent a cervical cancer check-up in the Cancer Early Detection Week that held at Papanggo Urban Village Puskesmas, Tanjung Priok. Eventually, those who are positive will be treated.

The activity that programmed by Solidarity Action Organization of the Working Cabinet (OASE-KK) cooperates with Health Ministry and Jakarta Provincial Government was directly reviewed by The First Lady , Iriana Joko Widodo. There was also seen Chairwoman of Jakarta TP PKK, Veronica Tan and Chairwoman of Jakarta BKOW, Happy Farida Hidayat.

Jakarta BKOW Chairwoman, Happy Farida Hidayat disclosed that the activity is conducted simultaneously in puskesmas that spread in five cities for one week. By so, every woman who suffered from cancer can be detected and get treatment. 

"It is held to anticipate cancer in women as early as possible. Mrs. Iriana visited to see the execution," said Happy, Tuesday (10/11)

It is hoped women in Jakarta can flocked to the puskesmas to check up or early detection of cervical cancer.

"Today, there are 100 women checked, hopefully the result is good. If one of them is positive, puskesmas will facilitate them through free treatment," she disclosed.
