Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama assessed the water channel condition in the capital is getting better. It is because dredging projects run smoothly.

Basuki admitted his side remains reminding Dept. of Water Management to divide the water flow and manage the level of some sluice gates.
Pump Operators Standby for 24 Hours“Water flow dividing must be run optimally. All river and channel must flow the water smoothly,” he added.
He also wants the agency to focus on water pumps for anticipating local rain or tidal wave.
