To smoothen construction of Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station, a traffic engineering will immediately be applied around Jl Pasar Jumat Raya, Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta.

Section Head of Traffic Engineering Management for Jakarta Transportation Dept, Priyanto disclosed, traffic engineering will be conducted on October 31, 2016-February 2017. Because there will be land hoarding on the south side of the station.

"We've issued recommendation about traffic engineering for Lebak Bulus MRT project, in forms of lane reduction at Jl Pasar Jumat. Two lanes on the south and north will be reduced," he expressed, Monday (10/24).

Yet he obligates the project implementer to install the signs as a work sign at the location to direct traffic and area barrier for the safety of the road user.

In details, lane reduction at Jl Pasar Jumat on the north of Lebak Bulus Station from two lanes become one lane and three lanes will be reduced up to one lane from the south.

"Later on, the existing Transjakarta bus stop on the south will be moved in the middle," he finished.
