Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama will start his leave period for local election on Friday (10/28). By starting his leave period, Basuki will step on campaign stages. He left messages for the acting governor who temporarily replaces him.

The prior projects must be handled well

His messages are related with the main working programs, such as relocation for riverbank residents. There is no time to postpone the normalization.

“The prior projects must be handled well,” he said, Monday (10/24).

Moreover, all Jakarta Provincial Government activity must be held transparently, especially for licensing. The activity must be documented and uploaded to youtube.

“Citizens will be able to monitor our work,” he added.

As for information, Basuki together with Jakarta Vice Governor Djarot Saiful Hidayat will take leave for local election from October 28 to February 11, 2017.
