Following Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama who is a definitive officer will leave to enroll the local election campaign for the upcoming 2017 Pilkada, the induction of Acting (Plt) Jakarta Governor will be slated on Wednesday (10/26).

It will be done by Home Ministry, Tjahjo Kumolo. Until now, he has not given further explanation about Acting Jakarta Governor. But it is assured the official who will be inducted is from echelon-I from Home Ministry.

"Tomorrow (Wednesday), I'll induct (Plt Jakarta Governor)," he stated, Monday (10/24).

There are some official criteria to serve Plt Jakarta Governor. Among them are the person must be experienced, has a good career, to understand the local financial economy, and understand the problems of regional secretariat. Acting post is also in charge of keeping the Pilkada proceeded peacefully.

According to him, the post has the same authority with definitive officials. It also can sign the APBD. Considering the near future will be discussing the 2017 budget.

"It can control all, we have its legal protection," he stressed.

One of officials that have opportunity to serve it is Home Ministry's director general for regional autonomy, Sumarsono. As planned, Plt authority will be strengthened in Regulation of Home Ministry No. 74/2016 where it has special duty that mandated beyond the authority should be.

This assignment including the success of the elections, completing the 2017 APBD, and organize regional organizations as the Government Regulation (PP) No. 18/2016.
