Acting Governor Monitors Readiness of Jakarta Pilkada

Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono is monitoring the implementation of 2017 Pilkada in Jakarrta KPU and Bawaslu. Both agencies that process the election have reported the preparations that have been made.

Sumarsono said he got reports constraints faced by Jakarta KPU. They are about population data collection for determination of voter lists (DPT). But he believes the election could run well.

He uttered if there is problem in the field, those could coordinate each other with Jakarta Provincial Government. His party will open 24 hours.

"We're ready to help, just report to us," he told.

He hoped the upcoming election could run smooth and safe. Moreover, Jakarta government has supported it through budget. In details, budget nominal for KPU is Rp 478 billion and Bawaslu Rp 98 billion
