City to Conduct Streamlined Organization Next Year

The city administration is going to apply a streamlined organization in 2017. Following the issuance of Government Regulation Number 18/2016 on Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD).

Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono disclosed will try to issue the Bylaw on OPD soon. Because deadline from the Central Government for streamlined organization is in January 2017.

"One of my duties as Acting Governor is encouraging to issue the OPD. And the continued with streamlined organization next year," he disclosed, at City Hall, Tuesday (1/11).

By doing so, Jakarta BKD must be able to conduct adjustment. Additionally, each post must be standards of competence. "Institution guidance must run, in line with my duty as Director General of Regional Autonomy. There must be competence standard for each post and will start on January 1, 2017," he expressed.

Head of Jakarta Organization and Governance Bureau (Ortala), Danny Sukma said, besides bylaw, streamlined organization in Jakarta is also still awaiting the Home Ministry Regulation on Special District.

"Because the regulation is not yet issued, we cannot execute the Government Regulation No. 18/2016 on District Apparatus. Like as Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Papua and Aceh, they have done the regulation. While others have already done," he finished.
