East Jakarta KPU appealed residents in their region to immediately conduct e-ID card recording. Considering, in East Jakarta, there are still 35,000 people not yet recorded.

"This issue must be solved together," said Nurdin, Chairman of East Jakarta KPU, Wednesday (11/2).
He disclosed, e-ID Card is the main requirement for citizens to conduct voting during 2017 Regional Election.
City Accelerates E-ID Card Recording"To do it, they should have e-ID card first," he expressed.
According to him, during voting, those who have no e-ID card must get statement letter from Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Dept.
"If not, their name won't be included in voter list (DPT)," he explained.
On the other hand, Head of East Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-dept, Ahmad Fauzi admitted would conduct approach method to citizens to immediately process e-ID card.
"We even open e-ID card service every Saturday in urban village offices," he finished.
