35,000 Residents in E. Jakarta Not Yet Process E-ID Card

The number of residents who have not processed data recording for e-ID card in East Jakarta is reaching 35,000 people.

Until now, around 35,000 residents have not processed e-ID card or 1.7 percent

To complete the recording program, East Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-dept will hold recording service on Saturday at seven urban villages.

Head of East Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-dept, Ahmad Fauzi disclosed, from total residents that should process e-ID card is 2,103,803. Until now, the target has reached 2,068,199 people or 98 percent.

City Accelerates E-ID Card Recording

"Until now, around 35,000 residents have not processed e-ID card or 1.7 percent," he told, Wednesday (11/2).

The seven urban villages are spread in two sub-districts. Each of them is located in Cakung Sub-district such as Pulogebang, Penggilingan, Jatinegara and Cakung Barat urban villages. Then in Duren Sawit Sub-district, there are Pondok Kelapa, Klender and Pondok Bambu urban villages. They are given special service because more than 1,000 residents have not processed e-ID card.

Even, one car that carries two recording devices of e-ID card also sent to the field.
