Transjakarta Prepares Route Diversion Today

PT Transjakarta prepares a route diversion for Transjakarta bus operational that intersects with the location of demonstration today, Friday (11/4). There are at least three corridors were prepared in anticipation of route diversion.

PT Transjakarta Operational Director, Daud Joseph disclosed, route diversion is situational. If the vehicle cannot pass due to demonstration, it will be applied.

Number of Security Personnel will Be Adjusted For DemoThe route diversion for Transjakarta during demonstration is applied at corridor 1 (Blok M-Kota), from Bank Indonesia towards Kota, rerouted to Patung kuda-turn to Jalan Budi Kemuliaan-Jalan Abdul Muis- Harmoni, if it is dense in Monas.
While from City, will be rerouted to Juanda-Pasar Baru-Gunung Sahari and go back to corridor 1 through Jalan Proklamasi.
While corridor 2 (Pulogadung-Harmoni), route from Pulogadung towards Senen, rerouted to Sawah Besar to get to Harmoni. Then from Harmoni, rerouted to Gunung Sahari-Pejambon.
Then for corridor 3 (Kalideres-Harmoni), route will be shortened. The initial route is reaching Pasar Baru, but shortened until Harmoni only. It is applied to smoothen bus operational.
Additionally, some routes like as PGC-Ancol, Kampung Rambutan-Ancol and Pinang Ranti-Kota, the number of fleet will be reduced. But the passenger can still use the bus through regular lane, by moving the corridor.
"In overall, we serve with the normal amount. This diversion will be minimized. Because we know there must be questions from passenger if there is route diversion," he disclosed.
