Installation of 89,417 LED Lamps in City Accelerated

Jakarta Industry and Energy Dept continues to speed up installation of smart LED lamp in three regions until the end of this year.

"Total LED lamp that will be installed is 89,417 points and spread in three regions," expressed Yuli Hartono, Head of Jakarta Industry and Energy Dept, during joint meeting of City Council Commission B, Thursday (11/3).

Yuli disclosed that LED lamp installation is focused in Central Jakarta, South Jakarta and North Jakarta.

"Four roads such as MHT, environment, collector and artery that spread in Central Jakarta and South Jakarta will be replaced with LED lamp," he explained.

As for the lamp replacement along MHT road in North Jakarta, would be realized in 2017. Until October 31, 2016, she furthered, lamp installation in such cities has reached 80.91 percent or 72,349 points. 

Then in South Jakarta, as many as 38,487 out of 50,067 points of lamp have been installed and 23,158 out of 28,845 points installed in Central Jakarta. Lastly, 9,245 out of 10,505 points of lamp in North Jakarta have been installed.

"We propose LED lamp installation more than 96,000 points in 2017 APBD for West Jakarta, East Jakarta and part of North Jakarta," he finished.

His side also requests City Council to support its realization throughout Jakarta until the end of 2017.
