Around 89,000 lamps of street light in the capital will be replaced with Light Emitting Diode (LED) this year. It is targeted to be completed in the upcoming November 2016.

Head of Jakarta Industry and Energy Dept, yuli Hartono disclosed that total number of lamp in the capital is 300,000 points. Those will be replaced with LED.
"This year, 89,000 lamps will be replaced with LED," he stated, at City Hall, Wednesday (9/7).

"Lamp replacement is done because network and lamp age is old," she told.
She explains fund for purchasing LED lamp reached Rp 744 billion. It is taken from self-managed.
"Next year, we have propose for replacing 120 units. It would spend Rp 900 billion," he finished.
