Security at City Hall Tightened

The security level in the complex of City Hall and City Council building is tightened. As much as 400 personnel of police and army are alerted to anticipate unwanted things during demonstration that will be staged after Friday prayer. 

There are four company-level units of police alerted at City Hall, comprising Marine and Brimob

Jakarta General Bureau Head, Agustino Dharmawan disclosed, four company-level units (SSK) of police will secure the office of Jakarta Governor. Each of them consist of 100 personnel.

"There are four company-level units of police alerted at City Hall, comprising Marine and Brimob," he stated, at City Hall, Friday (11/4).

Tomorrow, Odd-Even System Still Imposed

He explains 300 personnel secure the City Hall and 100 other personnel are alerted in DPRD area which is also still in a complex with City Hall.

"We send 100 personnel around City Council building," he told.

Meanwhile, his party is still requesting for additional security to Secretariat of Vice President about one company-level unit of police. It is to secure around the construction of Block F building, City Hall.

"We've contacted Secretariat of Vice President for additional security at project site, Block F," he stated.

Relaying on Beritajakarta.com's data, security at City Hall is tight. The visitor who visits must be checked in advance. Entrance and exit gates are closed, can only be passed by pedestrians only.
