Fire has burned a factory in the Ruko Pulomas Residence Complex, Jl Kayu Putih Raya, Pulo Gadung, East Jakarta today, Saturday (11/5), at around 1.30 PM. Allegedly, it is due to electricity short-circuit.

Sukma (37), one of citizens expressed, when fire happens, the three-story factory was empty and closed. Every day, the building is used to produce siomay (steamed dumpling).

Section Head of Operation for East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept, Gatot Sulaiman disclosed that there were no casualties reported in the incident, but the lost reached hundreds of millions rupiah.
To put out the flames, his side deployed eight fire trucks to the scene. Within 30 minutes, they managed to control the situation.
