I Am Ready to Face Pristono's Demands, Ahok Says

When he (Pristono) wants to sue me? Just do it if he wants to fuss with me. I'll face it 

On Wednesday (5/21) noon, Udar Prisono, former Head of Jakarta Transportation Department accompanied by his lawyer, Hasan Basri held a press conference regarding case of rusty Transjakarta bus procurement in Central Jakarta. 

In that occasion, Basri argues that Basuki should be questioned in the case of alleged misuse of funds that ensnared his client.

Udar Pristono Named as Suspect in Budget Mark-Up Case

Knowing the news, Jakarta Vice Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama revealed that he is ready to face the demands filed by Pristono related with case of rusty Transjakarta bus procurement. "When he (Pristono) wants to sue me? Just do it if he wants to fuss with me. I'll face it and bring all 2012 unworthy buses," said Basuki at City Hall, Wednesday (5/21).

He disclosed that the Attorney General's Office has set a new suspect in the case of Transjakarta bus procurement in 2012. "Just sue me, I was also annoyed with this. Why'd he targeting me? Whether he wants me to shut up and follow his order," he exclaimed.

He assessed, Pristono's action by associating him in the case is a drunken trick. "The crazy is the lawyer. I don't want a fuss, but I will face it if he wants it," he stressed.

As reported earlier, as many as 14 out of 656 Transjakarta and Integrated City Transjakarta (BKTB) buses arrived in in 2013 were known rusty and some components damaged.

Then, the Attorney General's Office had named some suspects linked to the case that has spent fund as much as Rp 1.5 trillion. One of them is Udar Pristono.
