69 Vehicles in South Jakarta Netted From the Raid

As much as 69 public transports and private vehicles were netted by the ranks of South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept and police from the raid at Jl Lenteng Agung, Jl RS Fatmawati and Jl Lebak Bulus.

Due to expired KIR, we had to stop the operational of three public minivans, one pick-up car and one light truck

Of the 69 vehicles, 10 vehicles are towed, 32 vehicles are ticketed, 9 cars and 13 motorcycles are flattened and 5 public transports' operational are stopped.

"Due to expired KIR, we had to stop the operational of three public minivans, one pick-up car and one light truck. They cannot show their vehicle documents and not wearing uniform," said Christianto, Head of South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept, Monday (11/7).

61 Vehicles in West Jakarta Netted

He continued, the raid is a follow up of public complaint about traffic violations in the field.

"Public transport driver doesn't have completeness of vehicle documents, pick up passenger carelessly and make traffic jam. Surely we control them," he uttered.
