Religious Activity Given to Elderly of Sasana Tresna Werda

As many as 166 elderly people who housed in Sasana Tresna Werda Budhi Mulia 1, Ciracas, East Jakarta are directed to fill activities each day with various religious activity under the guidance of instructors and orphanage management.

Manager of Sasana Tresna Werda Budhi Mulia 1 Ciracas, Nurazizah disclosed, every day, the elderly people are busy with lots of activities, either it is group or personal.

"Every day, there must be religious activity. We encourage them to enhance worship," she stated, Tuesday (11/8).

Through TJ Card, Elderly Can Enjoy Free Transjakarta Service

She mentions, a number of religious activities that followed the elderly are (Islamic traditional music), recitation, prayers in congregation until church service. Such religious activity starts at 9 AM-1 PM every day. "Sasana is occupied by 166 elderly with age of 55-92 years old," she stated.

They are also given tailoring and Angklung art training. Every Friday morning, they are invited to undergo the exercise together and continued with communal work.

"Every weekend, we allow the family to visit them," she closed.
