House Renovation Aid Given to Mustahiq in S. Jakarta

Around 65 houses belong to mustahiq (recipients) that spread in 10 sub-districts, South Jakarta received house renovation aid. The aid is from last year's Bazis fund that collected by South Jakarta Bazis through employee, official, employer and resident.

South Jakarta Mayor, Tri Kurniadi disclosed, as one of the pillars of Islam, Zakat (Alms-giving) is an obligation that must be fulfilled by every Muslim who is able to already classified.

W. Jakarta Bazis Delivered Aids for 2,730 Recipients

"The aims and objectives of zakat is to clean the wealth of every Muslim. In addition, it can cleanse the soul, thus the growing sense of brotherhood and create welfare of people," he stated, Wednesday (11/39).

The aid fund that distributed is reaching Rp 1,950,000,000. Every mustahiq gets Rp 30 million.

On that occasion, he also continued South Jakarta managed to excel in the collection of ZIS in 2015. That success is the third time in a row.

"Congrats to those who have received the aid, and we hope it can be useful for house renovation," he finished.
