Seribu Islands to Boost PAD in Tourism Sector

Deputy Regent of Seribu Islands, Muhammad Anwar is optimistic the regional revenue (PAD) in Seribu Islands will be higher in 2017, especially contribution from tourism sector.

His party is targeting regional revenue from tourism sector to increase 60 percent.

The government will also make an innovation to attract more tourists. Inevitably, it will also affect the economy of the island residents.

"Tour visit continues to increase automatically and increase people economic. Thus we continue to innovate in order to attract tourists to come to the islands," he stated.

As known, the number of regional revenue this year reached Rp 15 billion. The amount increased Rp 8 billion where it is higher than last year, which was Rp 7 billion.
