The service of e-ID card in Jakarta is temporarily disturbed since the blank stock from Home Ministry runs out.

Jakarta Head Dept. of Population and Civil Registration, Edison Sianturi, admitted Jakarta needs 4,000 blanks for e-ID card printing everyday.
“We need 450 thousands blank remaining to complete the card printing for greater Jakarta,” he said, Tuesday (11/15).

“The letter is able to be used as proposing other documents,” he added.
Responding about the matter, Jakarta City Council A Commission Secretary, Syarif, said the card printing authority should be given to regional government.
“The ministry should be more aware with problem like this. We need to serve citizens as quick as possible,” he said.
