100 People in Seribu Islands Have No E-ID Card

As many as 100 citizens of Seribu Islands have not processed e-ID card. A few of them already live in Jakarta now. On the other hand, the Seribu Islands Population and Civil Registration Sub-dept has sent a letter to each family.

Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono believes, until the end of this month, e-ID card recording could be finished.

"Citizens who have no e-ID card to immediately process it. It aims to succeed the upcoming Pilkada," he stated, in Pramuka Island, Seribu Islands, Wednesday (11/9).

1,492 Residents Recorded e-ID Card Data

Regent of Seribu Islands, Budi Utomo disclosed, total potential population in his region is 17,000 people. From that number, 100 of them people have no ID card.

"Some of them are in Jakarta. But we've coordinated with the related unit to immediately send notification letter to the concerned person to register," he told.

If some people still not have ID card during voting, they can still use their right. All must be in accordance with the applicable rules.

"In a certain extent, there will be an agreement of a dossier signing along with KPU and Panwaslu to decide as to what. They can still vote by bringing ID card," he finished.
