A street light pole on Jalan TB Simatupang, in front of Nestle Building, Kebagusan, Pasar Minggu had been evacuated because of prone to collapse, Tuesday (11/15) afternoon.
Technically, the pole is handled by Sub-dept. of Industry and Energy
Fortunately, the pole did not collapse on the street which was full with vehicles. Traffic jam could not be avoided because of this matter.
Kebagusan Urban Village Head, Fathan Taufik, said the leaned pole was caused by channel project run by Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing. Moreover, the soil is unstable because of rain.
Five Trees and One Street Light Pole Collapsed“Technically, the pole is handled by Sub-dept. of Industry and Energy. PPSU personnel only evacuated the pole from the street,” he said.
