Jakarta Provincial Government still depends on supplier to meet the chili distribution. It means the price handling can not be run since the stock is depend on supplier.
Chili is not planted in Jakarta, that’s why we need supplier
Acting Jakarta Governor, Sumarsono, said Jakarta Provincial Government has formed Regional Inflation Handling Team (TPID). Team will provide coordination to handle the distribution.
“Chili is not planted in Jakarta, that’s why we need supplier. Team will handle the inflation including the nine staple foods distribution,” he said, Wednesday (11/16).
Low Supply Triggers Fluctuation of Chili PricesHis side will also cooperate with regional distributor related with chili supply.
“We need to handle inflation. Communication with supporting areas must be maintained,” he added.
Moreover, market operation may not be held to handle the chili price since the price is fluctuate.
