The regional organizations under Jakarta Provincial Government will be changed on January 1, 2017. It refers on Government Regulation No. 18/2016 on regional organization.

"Structure changes in regional organization is applied nationally, thus the wheels of local government could run efficient and effective," said Sumarsono, Jakarta Acting Governor, after the plenary session of City Council, Wednesday (11/16).

He stated, the change approach refers to Government Regulation No. 18/2016, which is right structure, right function.

Sumarsono hoped City Council could complete discussion of draft regulations on the establishment and composition of the regional organization became local regulation, thus the policy can already be applied on January 1, 2017.

Meanwhile, City Council Chairman, Prasetio Edi Marsudi added his party will complete a discussion about draft bylaw proposal from executive in accordance with the schedule.

"We are optimistic it will be complete in the upcoming December," he finished.
