Red Onion Price Escalates 50 Percent

The stock of red onion in Kramat Jati Market declines now. As the result, the red onion price escalates up to 50 percent since October to mid November.

This month’s price is fluctuate, but remains higher compared to last month

Kramat Jati Market Manager, Nurman Adhi, said the price at the first week was Rp 32,800/kg, second week was Rp 41,000/kg, and third week was Rp 37,000/kg.

The price was still high compared on last month. On the first week of October, the price was Rp 23,000/kg, second week was Rp 22,100/kg, third week was Rp 22,500/kg, and fourth week was Rp 30,429/kg.

Red Onion Price at Kramat Jati Market Declines

“This month’s price is fluctuate, but remains higher compared to last month,” he said, Friday (11/18).

According to him, the fluctuate stock disturbed the price. As on the first week of November, the stock was 76 tons and second and third week was Rp 73 tons.

Compared on October, the stock on first week was 98 tons, second week 105 tons, third week 90 tons, and fourth week 97 tons. The stock is taken from Brebes, Cirebon, and Lumajang.
