Landslide on Jalan Patra Kuningan Gets Wider

The condition of landslide on Jalan Patra Kuningan XV, RT 06/04, Kuningan Timur, Setiabudi, South Jakarta post the collapsed channel plaster on Friday (11/11), is getting wider.

There were cracks on last week. Water entered the cracks and soil was unable to hold the water

Based on Beritajakarta.com’s observation, the collapsed plaster becomes 17 meters from previous condition by 7 meters. One spider excavator was deployed to evacuate the landslide material and demolish the collapsed plaster.

South Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Water Management, Holi Susanto, admitted the collapsed plaster is being handled now. It is predicted that collapsed plaster was caused by rain intensity.

“There were cracks on last week. Water entered the cracks and soil was unable to hold the water,” he said, Monday (11/21).

According to him, cerucuk dolken will be installed as the soil holder before constructing new plaster. The supporting materials like sand, cement, and split stone will be distributed tomorrow.
