50 Percent Tourism Industry in West Jakarta Do Not Extended TDUP

50 percent or 908 entertainment industry owners in West Jakarta do not extended 2014 Tourism Business Registration Certificate (TDUP). As supposed to be, the TDUP shall be extended annually. So that, West Jakarta Tourism Sub-Dept. can easily guide and evaluate the tourism in that area.
The applied sanction is only reprimanding letter and warning. There is no any binding sanction
Head Section of West Jakarta Tourism Sub-Dept, Nyoman Winastra, explained that 50 percent of 1,817 registered tourism industries do not extended the TDUP. Winastra suspected due to the absence of affirmative sanction, the majority of tourism industry owners are reluctant to extend the TDUP. “The applied sanction is only reprimanding letter and warning. There is no any binding sanction,” explained Nyoman Winastra, Thursday (5/22).
Based on West Jakarta Tourism Sub-Department data, there are 112 hotels, 363 restaurants, 247 diners, 120 bars, 6 coffee shops, 198 cafeterias, 40 bakery shops, 204 travel agencies, 42 impresarios, 32 discotheques, 17 billiards, 34 cinemas, 57 karaoke, 42 live music, 10 reflection places, 79 massage places, 139 barber shops, 13 sport centers, 5 saunas, 1 spa, 1 fishing pool, 5 nightclubs, 19 arcade game, 7 swimming pools, and 24 caterings.
