157 Roads in North Jakarta Concreted

As many as 157 roads that spread in six sub-districts in North Jakarta are concreted. It is carried out in order to anticipate the same condition and inundation in the future.

Section Head of Development and Improvement for North Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept, Ujang R disclosed, concretisation method towards 157 roads has been ongoing since July. Most roads that concreted are elevated up to 30 cm from the initial condition.

"The road in North Jakarta is mostly passed by the heavy vehicle. By doing so, we hope the road could last a long time," he stated, Wednesday (11/23).

This year, Jalan Pasar Induk Cipinang Concreted

He mentions, those 157 roads that have been concreted are Jalan Inspeksi Kali Sunter (Koja), Jalan Gudang Peluru (Cilincing), Jalan Gading Raya (Kelapa Gading), Jalan Agung Karya VI (Tanjung Priok), Jalan Ketel (Pademangan) and Jalan Kamal Muara Raya (Penjaringan).

"Everything has been completed since early November," he finished.
