The Batu City Administration, East Java plans to adopt software of Jakarta Smart City and will be imposed in their city next year.

Sub-Section Head of Governance for Batu City's Organization Public Service, Tri Agus Abdi disclosed will impose a Batu Smart City next year. Hence, his side does a study visits to some areas that have imposed smart city like Jakarta.

"We'll impose the Batu Smart City. From Jakarta, we can adopt its system, application and software," he stated, at City Hall, Wednesday (11/23).

He explains, later on, software that adopted from Jakarta Smart City will be modified. This is because problem in Jakarta with Batu City is different. In Jakarta, it is more focused on traffic jam and garbage.

"Not all in Jakarta we use, because we are based on agriculture. So, we will do modification in accordance with our local knowledge," he finished.
