15 Tenements in Balimester Burnt

As many as 15 tenements that located at Jl Pedati Raya, RT 04/01, Balimester, Jatinegara, East Jakarta were caught on fire at around 2.30 AM, Friday (11/25). There was no casualty reported in the incident, but the loss is reaching 1.5 billion.

Based on the information gathered, fire is due to electricity short-circuit from one of buildings. In the incident, 15 households or 60 people lost their homes.
Head of Operation Section for East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept, Gatot Sulaiman disclosed fire has destroyed four permanent homes and 11 rented tenements.

To extinguish the flames, as many as 15 fire trucks immediately deployed to the scene and managed to control it at 4.30 AM or two hours after fire.
