Council Wants Draft Bylaw on Kota Tua Arrangement Realized

City Council (DPRD) hoped, the Kota Tua arrangement can be included in program of 2017 Bylaw Formation (Propemperda).

The commission had made a proposal to add the proposed drat bylaw on arrangement of Kota Tua in 2017 Propemperda

"The commission had made a proposal to add the proposed drat bylaw on arrangement of Kota Tua in 2017 Propemperda," said Tubagus Arif, Chairman of City Council Commission B, on a sidelines of a joint meeting between the executive and legislative related submission of the report of Regional Legislation Board (Balegda) against the results of 2017 Propemperda, Monday (11/28).

Arif disclosed that the arrangement is very urgent to make the draft bylaw. Considering, the land that has 600 kilometers wide is only managed by the Technical Management Unit (UPT).

"Whereas, the Kota Tua arrangement is a mandate of President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo as national strategic area," he expressed.

He regretted, until now, such draft bylaw is not yet realized. Whereas, through legal protection in form of bylaw, it will run systematically in future.

"Budget discussion every year is only allocated to security and cleanliness," he disclosed.
